Iphone 4 proximity sensor issue appears to be fixed in hardware

I recently had to have my original iphone 4 swapped out due to recovery mode problem. I have had proximity sensor issues with the first phone since it came out last june. I upgraded to all the new firmwares which were suppose to fix the problem but never did. In this video I will show you the difference between this phone. Check out my other video on the proximity sensor issue. Now, I have no
absolute proof that apple did make a hardware revision. I am assuming since this iphone 4 can now be 2-3 inches from my head before the screen comes on, that something was done in engineering to fix this problem. Again, the only proof is that this phone as shown in this demo is certainly working the way the proximity sensor was intended to work.
