Apple iPhone ad - Bricked but Useful

if this is an actual ad for apple, why would they air it? its saying the update bricked his phone. they would not want a phone that dies when you update it.

You should just use like that whether it's locked or unlocked. The people at Apple are control freaks, plain and simple. But that aside, the iPhone is just another device that people use to fill their empty lives with. Same thing with other fancy cell phones. Turn off the phone and start living life.

i have an unlocked iphone and i havent had any problems so far
