Pacific Islanders team to play England today at Twickenham

The Pacific Islanders are made up of players from Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.

The team has played every two years since 2004.

They have played Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

Now they meet England, France and Italy.

They normally do not have must time to prepare and often are called form different parts of the world to assemble.

The 2008 team is very much together.

Allthough they have been together less than a week before meeting England at Twickenham, they have naturally come together as people from the Pacific.

The Siva Tau is of particular importance.

It is made up of elements of the Cibi from Fiji, the Siva Tau from Samoa and the Sipi Tau from Tonga.

In this team are all three captains:

Mosese Rauluni ( Fiji ).
Filipo Levi (Samoa).
Nili Latu (Tonga).

Mosese is the captain of the Pacific Islanders and Nili is the vice captain.
