Hmmm. Yes we're happy,they were well cared for, healthy animals, and they filled our freezer with delicious meat. Go hug a carrot or something.

I run about 50 beef cow/calf pairs, butcher 2 year old steers, and run everyone thru the chute twice a year for worming and vaccines. Never used a prod even once, never needed to.

@theleverbeef You probably have a proper chute, trailer, and loading area set up if you are running that many animals. If you read the description, we are hobby farmers using tube gates and a pony trailer so the prod is necessary.

Beautiful countryside you live in! Mind me asking where it is? And I appreciate someone understanding that we are the predator and they are the prey. Their is nothing wrong with this chain, as long as they are well cared for up until that point. That is a nice little operation you have there, much like our own :)
