David Gilmour - Guitar and Vocals
Richard Wright - Farfisa Organ and Hammond Organ
Roger Waters - Guitar.

It was written by Roger Waters and sung by David Gilmour.

Lyrics:

In a churchyard by a river,
Lazing in the haze of midday,
Laughing in the grasses and the graze.
Yellow bird, you are alone
In singing and in flying on,
In laughing and in leaving.

Willow weeping in the water,
Waving to the river daughters,
Swaying in the ripples and the reeds.
On a trip to Cirrus Minor,
Saw a crater in the sun
A thousand miles of moonlight later.

  • @allyplumb Ibiza bas is good too... and spanish piece I love it... and Cirrus minor... and the others. This album is underrated but its a very good album.... one of their best.

  • @whoami2244661 This album is underrated it's a pity.... For my taste "More" is much better than "The wall". Do you agree ?

  • People should realize that The Floyd did seven official albums before Darkside, now that is minus Relics, the compilation of rare tracks, minus Pompeii, The Hard Way, San Tropez, and Demos and such--Personally I feel that Live at P. is more the original album than most bands' studio albums, even though it is essentially just Meddle and Suacerful. That is the same number of albums as after and including DSOTM, the last two not having RW. But if you add up solo albums: RW+DG+SB+PF>20prolific

  • grandioso, bravo rick wright!

  • Sarah McLachlan ripped off 1:50 to about 3:00 at the beginning of the song Possession. But I'm sure no one cares...

  • One of my top 5 songs of all time!

  • soothing.

  • Don't like this album much to be honest but this along with "The Nile song" and "Cymbaline" are little gems on there..

  • Awesome soundtrack to an awesome movie!

    :)

  • The Farfisa is just perfect.

I think I'll try to get one of those.
