I think he is important leader of the particularly concerned Somali Community of Manosota.
He also seems very good role model and speaks about very good issues that even effected me living in a country that is very far away from where he lives, the common thing that we both have is that we both struggled with our university degrees.
Listen very careful the points he is raising, he is trying to make this this attention a positive one rather than negative consequence for the community

Abdi is the youth program director at the Brian Coyle Community Center in Minneapolis. This center is the most prominent and important meeting place for Somali immigrants in the city. He is the most qualified person in Minneapolis, which boasts a strong Somali community, to speak on the difficulties of Somali immigrant children and teens integrating and assimilating into American society.

How do we take the Senate effort seriously when they decided to invite this wet behind the ears boy to speak for the Somali community about something that is grave importance to the whole Somali Diaspora? Haarut-i gree with you for sure, Man i totally felt helpless after having listened to this vidoes!!! i doubt weather this speakers were serious about attending the senate discussion!! i expected them to table a plan that can help sharpen the relationship between the somalis and US security both there in US and back home in somalia- i needed them to show a constructive challange but see what happened!! when will somalis stop sychophancy? too bad!! we will leave with it may be!!!!

Its somewhat peculiar that a community of thousands of intellectuals and leaders being represented by few incompetent at best, if not totally oblivious opportunists. How dare they point deceitful fingers at the true leaders of the Somali community, Sheikhs? Was it for a tribal retaliation, or to score a cheap political point? Somalis everywhere in the world have chosen a Sheikh as a president whom himself was considered just yesterday; a dangerous terrorist. So, live with it idiots or die hard.
