J.K Rowling says she hasn't been able to write since the courtcase over a 400-page reference book which she says infringes copyright laws. Heres the full story.

STORY:
J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series that has stolen the hearts of so many readers...and moviegoers...arrives to testify in New York federal court.

The British writer takes the stand in a lawsuit she - and entertainment giant Warner Brothers - have filed against one of the boy wizard's most loyal fans.

At issue: whether Steve Vander Ark, should be allowed to publish a 400-page reference book called "The Harry Potter Lexicon."

She says the proposed encyclopedia violates copyright laws.

[J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter Author]:

"There are lots of books in many languages that comment on, or criticize, Harry Potter and I'm delighted about that. But the book in this case is different. It provides no analyses and virtually no commentary. It takes far too much and it gives far too little."

A lawyer for the publisher argues the lexicon would actually help the Harry Potter series.
But Rowling told the judge, due to the stress of dealing with the case she hasn't been able to write.

That is utter nonsense, but if I told the judge that which Rowling has it would be true, but I would add my Harry Potter stories, and that is what plagiarism is and how it affects the original creator of a story or other literary work that gets stolen and sometime later it gets written-up by a foreign author. @licksoremasks She is my puppet! LOL! Also the Lexicon was included with the original books, all from the same author. So if it gets banned it will take away alot of meaning from HP. I never wanted to be famous back when I wrote HP, and that has changed only a little bit. Now I tell a few people from time to time just to see their reactions...positive and negative. Jo Rowling is not the author people have been led to believe in. You only have to use your nous to figure that one out for yourself. There is much to the true origins of Harry Potter from the original creator of the stories main concepts, story-lines, characters, creatures, and their names. @earthchick18 Jo Rowling did not create the Harry Potter concept stories and a lot of artwork of the main features, characters, and animals that are in the films. I am, Gregory Ronald SImcock and the fact not mentioned in the articles and interviews, in which Jo Rowling has been in, is that I am the original creator of the stories many main elements. That includes the seven title names of the series. My work got stolen from my Australian home. The imagery in my art was expressive. That is fact!

@earthchick18 A women involved with the government came forward with LOTS of evidence to support her commission, then discrediting by the publishers. JK Rowling is a corporate face, a puppet, and probably just a paid actress. read a real book one day you dip shxt, take your round thick frame galsses off, whip the lightning bolt paint of your fat fxckin forehead, and do some research. you read a few potter books, watch the movies and think you know something.
