To me I always thought that Pete viewed Don as the father figure he always wanted.... When hes upset he runs to go to Don's office to be able to tell someone and whenever he gets an account he wants Dons approval ....even when Don and Roger went to his house to 'poach' him for their new agency he only wanted to hear " I need you" from Don and NOT Roger ....ergo father figure...

In the first season, Pete started off as the douche, and Don, despite his womanizing, was a likable character. Now, Don's been exposed as a scondrel, and Pete has become a very likable and sympathetic character.

God I love his voice

@Rushingclass He's not really a villain. I think he's going to surprise people soon. He has a lot of power.

pete is an asshole and an oppurtunist and is getting smarter with each passing episode. in real life he would take over SCDP 4yrs after its inception. villians FTW!

Katheiser looks sort of like Mads Mikkelsen from certain angles

Peggy play off the fact that people underestimate her, Pete is a privileged klutz & has a longer way to go in order to work things out in his favor.

Hamm should have a glass of rye in hand, the bottled water just doesn't seem right.
