The MEE Report: "Reaching the Hip-Hop Generation," a 23-minute documentary (with accompanying research report), is the result of two years of extensive research on the lives and lifestyles of urban youth. This groundbreaking 1992 video examines hip-hop culture, the rap music phenomena, the dynamics of oral communications culture and socioeconomic issues that are still relevant 16 years later. The MEE Report found that urban youth may well be the hardest-to-reach population when it comes to pro-social messages. The film received the "Finalist" Award at the 1993 New York Film Festivals and the 1994 International Health and Medical Film Festival.
