Cat Rescue Christchurchs aim is to desex as many stray cats as possible in Christchurch New Zealand. One of our methods we use is the box trap where we are able to trap several cats at once! This video is a great example of this we caught 3 in one go! Very successful way to help cut down the cat overpopulation.

LOVE THE STRAYS............. Cat Rescue Christchurch benefit the community by catching and desexing stray cats and kittens, particularly unsocialised (unhandleable) strays, and socialising and re-homing the cats and kittens where possible, in order to reduce the number of stray cats in the community. We mainly deal with the stray cat population, and not peoples pets, as no other organisation in ChCh help unsocialised stray cats.

NO-KILL....... We are the only Cat Rescue organistaion in ChCh that Maintain a no-kill policy. This is where no cat will be killed unless he/she is suffering and veterinary care cannot prevent the suffering.
