Understanding the Low Income Undergraduate Experience PART 1

The promise of access to higher education remains central to UCs mission. This promise is particularly important to students from low-income communities. How, in the context of a dismal fiscal environment, is the University responding to the needs of our low-income students? How do professionals, with much more stable financial situations than the ones of the low-income students they serve, continue to understand and be sensitive to the low-income student experience? This video is one component of an interactive workshop that aims to highlight the low-income student experience at UC Berkeley.
