I'm used to my rap, rock Hip Hop and other stuff. But man. This song blows me away. It's good to get away from the gang music, hos, loud guitars, cussing and just listen. This dog can sing. I am crushed.

As a girl I baby sat his children for his ex-wife Barbara and always wished that I could have met Jack but he was on the road then but I've always loved everything he put on record...would love to hear from anyone that knew him or his ex-wife..!

I saw a sampler of country music on tv and this song came up. Since then the first verse of the song stuck in my head. I love old country songs. I'm 22 and I grew up with music from the 90's and modern stuff, but old country music seems to just take you on another time. :)

I was working at a local radio station during high school in Franklinton, LA when Jack Green and the local sheriff (who might have been campaigning) stopped by the radio station. My mouth dropped from surprise. This was his hit song at that time. I believe I have a black and white 8x10 of us together talking on the radio microphone that day.

I absolutely love this song. I get weird looks from my friends when they're all listening to rap or this auto-tuned pop garbage and then they ask me what I'm listening to and I start naming off people like Jack Greene, Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and other classic country artists.

I'd pick this kind of music over the computerized garbage any day.
