  • @funkeyfact .I think you've been listening to urban myths! only TWO sets of archaeologists have been allowed to do any work inside the henge within the past 40 years, & the work of both is readily available on the net. You can't carbon date soil, you know, it has to be organic matter, and to get under the stones you'd have to lift them !Bone and antlers from the site comes up with dates between 2000-3000 bc (with error margins of a few hundred years.)The earliest drawing of SH btw is medieval.

  • Nice music!!! There was a team of archeologists who discovered that the ground under the stones is not older than 300 years.

So that would mean that stonehenge itself is not older than 300 years.

What do you think of this?

  • may the stones stand for ever great

  • yep, this is a great video and song - and I agree open access to stonehenge is great. But I've seen the litter left in the morning after the solstice, I've seen people jumping upon and down on the stones like monkies, walking along the top lintels(and falling off head first).... just wish people would be more respectful and not treat the place like a rave site

  • Questo è Paradiso!

  • Grüße aus der Oberlausitz!

  • Lovely images and choice of music
