i got this laptop yesterday, and i have to tell you wow, i mean wow, the price is crazy we all know it but i mean wow, now everything you thought a mac wouldn't have it now does, you get amazing graphics, slim notebook, and best of all its small and portable, i mean i got the mac book not the pro, but its really awesome, i cant keep telling you how much its good, now apple takes the small notebook details and makes them the best enjoyable laptop computer you will ever use in your life time :)

@Productionpenguin Yes, and sometimes you get less than you pay for. Like a tiny 13" screen on a laptop that costs over $1000. And PC parts, like Intel processors and AMD graphics. You're pretty much just paying for the Mac OS and the name. (I have a Macbook from the mid-2000s, and it locks up just as much as my Windows box.) Just because the marketing arm of Apple told you you're getting a "better" computer doesn't make it so.

@Productionpenguin Macs get viruses as well. Pcs can be made of metal but that raises price pointlessly and adds weight

@Dancam12345 To a lot of people a computer is more than just the chips and hardware that's in the computer. The Mac line in my opinion is the best looking computers on the market. Most people that don't have an eye for design or the artistic value of Apples products just don't get it and never will.

@Dancam12345 well the OS is different. The software package you get with a Mac is awesome. iLife and iWork beats any software that comes with a Dell. And lets not forget the design of the Mac. The design alone is one reason why a lot of people have always loved Macs.
