Since 1995, Miki Takashi's songs had lost the voice to bring out the best in them. Miki must have been in sheer grief and suffering after the passing of Teresa Teng. It must have affected him so much that he too died relatively young.

Now both of them are gone, it is such an immeasurable loss for both the Japanese and Chinese fans of Teresa Teng & Miki Takashi.
