10.09.09 (1/2) Exhibition Match #1 Ravitz [Chun Li] vs. Blanka

Greetings viewers! Today is the start of a new section of exhibition matches. The first match is against a friend/rival Blanka player. The condition for victory was the first person to reach 5 wins. Id like to extend this exhibition challenge to you viewers and anyone else on XBL who would like to challenge my Chun Li. Best of 5 matches and results posted here. Now, on with the show!

Part 1: Ive faced many a number of great Blanka players in G1, but this Blanka takes a lot of content from the old school of street fighter from where I originate and brings it into SF4. Looking back at the first match, I took a huge risk executing the ultra at the end of the 2nd round. Long story short, I did not correctly estimate how far back the corner was and set myself up for an easy counter-ultra. No worries though, the real point of the match for me was complete

great chun play =). you should go to the training mode and try to punish blocked ex.ball with ultra (in any part of the stage). it's not hard to do it but there is a tiny timing. when you have executed that in a match, the blanka will think twice on when to use the ex.ball. cheers!

Hey, good tip! As I was messing around in training, I also discovered a blocked Blanka crouching fierce is also an invitation for an super/ultra =)

great matches. being a blanka player i was rooting 4 him. my strategy is 2 not use his roll being that it is unsafe when blocked. he has so many tools at his arsenal with his hop,slide n his ex rainbow roll. just 2 name a few.

I'd think that's only possible when the Blanka was very close? Basically reversal ultra. I could be wrong cause I haven't tested.
