Hunter was badass! And as I recall, he almost always shot the bad guys at the end of each episode, thus saving the tax payers a lot of money! The court in his jurisdiction must not have seen very much use.

@indyfan22k It was 10 PM Eastern It was on after 227 and Amen for most of its run. I know this because my dad would watch this all the time. He would even tape the episodes on VHS, even though we have DVD's today.

Back in tje 80s we had Hunter, Magnum, Crockett & Tubbs. Now we have too many csi shows/law & order shows with forgettable characters.
