KDN putting up Ksh550m data centre

As the race to spread internet services across the country gathers pace, the government is urging the private sector players to share their infrastructure and technical knowledge. Prime Minister Raila Odinga argues that this will go a long way in addressing the pressing need for connection to the internet. Raila spoke while presiding at a ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a multi million shillings data centre by a local telecommunications infrastructure provider, Kenya Data Networks.
