George Bush is atheist. Only a an atheist could be president. If he were religious, we would be close-minded and say everyone who isn't his religion is immoral. He accept evolution, acceots God, he accepts the bible isn't literally true, he accepts muslims, he accepts homosexuals. If he didn't, no one would vote for him.
Ah no. Check the record. John Adams wasn't an Episcoplian. My question isn't whether they went to church (like GWBush does) but rather what they believed.
I understand Lofton's strict test for Christianity fine. I'd just note, accordingly, the first half dozen Presidents were not "Christian." That far far more evidence suggests GWB is an orthodox Trinitarian Christian than there is for George Washington, et al.
Washington as President (and Jefferson & Madison) went so far as to pray to the Native Americans pagan "Great Spirit" God by name, a God who unlike Allah, didn't even claim to be the God of Abraham.
every religion thinks that everyone will convert to theirs. Theres no reason christiany is the one that everyone will switch to except that you think so.

Yes in the sense that I meticulously document the Founding era record on what the FFs personally believed on religious matters.
