One of my favorite quotes is by Picasso- "Art is a lie that makes us realize truth." So no this isn't a true story but it has shades of truth to it. People really did make fun of my voice growing up and they still do from time to time. I did realize the fragility and beauty of life but it wasn't through the events portrayed in the film... Led here by your story of hearing music for the first time. Amazing story. Eleven eleven is heartbreaking, beautifully crafted. Cried for the tragedy of it. Glad it wasn't a "true" story, though I know that tragedy is a common element of the human condition. Thanks for making it.
