Change slider text on iPhone using only Winterboard

This will allow you to alter the text on the sliders of your iPhone (i.e. "slide to unlock" becomes "eat me" - if you wish) You will need this file in order to complete this process.

This solution is for anyone who cannot get Customize.app to function properly and still wants to get the text changed. This process works and there is no need for any other apps except Winterboard.

You do essentially the same thing, but you have to use the Mac's Terminal program to access your iPhone vs. WinSCP.

Google how to use Terminal to access an iPhone and from there you can follow these steps to modify the same files.

Thanks! Worked perfectly. Now I gotta figure out how to change the text on the rest of the buttons on my phone (New SMS, etc) I want to change things like "reply" and "ignore"

if you want to change what the strings actually are, all you have to do is open the .strings file with notepad and edit it then save it when you are done. It is as simple as that.

and if I remember correctly there was a free program that all you need to do is use it to type what text you want and it will transfer it to the slider, you can even choose different colours
