@Plywalker hey man you're welcome... glad you enjoyed it... As you see mine was a 5-speed, had 160k+ miles or so when I sold it I think... It was a gas sipper even if I ran it hard.. haha... I used it as a daily driver and only reason I sold it was a blown head gasket and didn't want to spend a lot of cash on an older car with high miles... I still have another video or two of this car I might try to upload...

@biglinc1 The way I drove... Gas sipping wasn't a requirement for me (blame it on youthful energy). Max G cornering... a lot of downshifting before corners, redline-shifting ;) I was surprised that the darn thing couldn't break! However, finally after 10 yrs and about 165grand Kms of abuse (about 100K miles) the Auto tran started acting funny and it was sold soon after. But like you said... I wish it were still around. Thanks for the upload man. Brought back good memories

@Plywalker you forgot one thing... these things are gas sippers!! I loved my kia, sort of wish she was still around... :)

Independant suspension... raspy engine note... brakes that managed to stop the car... (Okay brakes weren't its strongest points). But was my dream ricer! I just loved the way the damn thing cornered!! It was light and extremely nimble...

@cushingbro I loved this little car, then i was cruising about 65 on a parkway and the headgasket blew... before i could get stopped it already did its damage.. :(
vmax of my kia = 140km/h :D in 25 sec.

Whoa whoa whoa.... First: Granny shifting?!! seriously, it HAS a rev limiter, hit the damn limiter when you shift. Whats with the valve tick too? just curious.

@supra1 not the best idea to hit the rev limiter on this poor little car... She was just a beater to drive to work... Blew a head-gasket on the freeway one afternoon on the freeway doing 65-70... When the head gasket blew on it, I pulld the heads off it, and the engine was full of "gunk"... I don't think the previous owner rarely changed the oil in that car.. Was a shame, the body was excellent, just wasn't worth it to me to put a new engine in it....
