Sean Carasso, Falling Whistles

Sean Carasso at the Newark Peace Education Summit in May 2011. In 2008, Sean, quit college to become an avid traveler and adventurer traveling the world with Jon Paul DeJoria. In 2008, by happenstance traveling between South Africa and going north to the Democratic Republic of Congo, he came across children being sent to the frontlines of war with only a Whistle. It was that night he wrote a small journal, Falling Whistles, and forwarded it around the world in which he received thousands of emails from people asking what they could do. Out of this was born the Falling Whistles Campaign asking people to be Whistle blowers for peace. His campaign raises funds and to rehabilitate hundreds of women and children in the Congo in one of the world deadliest wards.
