  • This piece was lost the moment it started, Spirituality is required !!!, this version is hard driving,& too fast,with no sense of Piety, Gentleness or soft Grace,-However I do Love P'J's voice,but the conductor did not match the music to the Text ! Absolutely no question about it.

    I have spent time living in a Franciscan Monastery,(Silent Order)&the Overwhelming sense of Holiness & Godliness must be felt.Philippe has it but sadly it was overplayed by the Band.

  • J'ai écouté nombre de versions, et mes preferées sont, dans l'ordre décroissant: DELLER, STUTZMANN, SCHOLL, DANIELS, et JARROUSKY;;

    Pour l'impact émotionnel, Deller surtout, et Stutzmann m'on fait pleurer!!!

  • Lindo!

    Paz e Bem!!!

  • meraviglioso!

  • I am a devoted fan of Phillipe, but I do prefer Michael Chance's voice in this piece. I am so glad Phillipe is coming to Poland :) I am going to listen to him in real at last.

  • i like Alfreds Dellers interpretation more..

    this one is too fast and too forcefull

  • @olympina Agreed. Skill without soul.
