  • The more sugar that is added - the more alcohol. A 1 to 2 ratio will produce 60 - 70 proof.

  • @rmpob1 You won't likely see 70 proof without distillation. Got a still?

  • This guy is cool..

This is like a rewarding hobby.

How strong are these drinks? I watched your other series (welch grape juice) does this stuff get you drunk? Is it as strong as a wine or vodka, beer ????

  • @Jahkillian It's a wine. But maybe a little stronger than regular wine. Definitely not weaker. And yes it will get you smashed.

  • @Jahkillian I think my next batch will be "mead" (Honey Wine) I think I'll make this one a Raspberry Mead. But Not this week. I don't have the ingredients yet.

  • how do you keep your batch warm?

  • @weedall85 I just use room temp

  • cool, gonna have to try that, you used what you had and did not spend a fortune... I like it

  • @rmpob1 If you have "wine" that is 60-70 proof then you may want to consider re-labeling it. You will very rarely see a wine over 20 proof, let alone 60.

  • Looks great so far, good luck and keep me posted :)
