Training a 6yo TB gelding, Doublemarch, in Bitless Dressage with a Dr. Cook Bitless Bridle. Doublemarch has seven months of Bitless Dressage training when these photos were taken in April 2010.
how often did you ride and how long for each session, during your actual dressage training? I have had my 7yo Tb for a year now, never used a bit since I got him, did only light riding around the arena/paddocks and on the road with Dr Cooks bitless, but done a lot of ground work lunging. He's also transitioning to barefoot, so I am taking it easy on him, sometimes he's sore on gravel. Would like to know what sort of dressage training regime you used with yours? Thank you.
