This is an early '90s vintage IBM Thinkpad laptop. It has a 10" 640x480 16 bits colour screen (DSTN), a 3.5" floppy drive, 320MB hard drive, and the classic knob for a mouse. For connectivity, it has a 3Com PCMCIA ethernet adapter. The battery (a NiMH pack) obviously no longer works, but with a fresh set of cells it could be revived.
It is still functioning, and runs an old Slackware linux distribution. Best feature of this laptop? The *awesome* keyboard. To this date, it's still the best laptop keyboard I've ever typed on. I could still churn out code on this thing.
Also worth mentioning is the bios; it has its own GUI with mouse control.
