@ImportDreams500 It's not that BMW "needed" a turbo. they used it mainly to get better fuel economy. BMW can make more power out of N/A engine if they wanted. Just look at M3/M5, they make 400~500hp.

Uscusctrojan . Are u sure u have a 335 ?? The overheating problem was fixed when they added an oil cooler to the 335's in 08 . I have a 08 heavily tuned and I beat on it everyday . Never a problem with the car .

@thehacker660 if they used it mainly to get a better fuel economy, then why did they downgrade the m5 to a twin turbo V8 instead of V10?

Hmmm thats weird i have a bmw and ive redlined it alot and it never gets overheated the needle has never seen the other side of the cold as far as its ever gotten is close to the middle hahaha that 335 is beast i wish i had one :(

I drive a 2011 BMW 335 and even though its faster then the G37 the engine overheats VERY easily. I have taken it to 2 different BMW dealers and both managers have told me the same thing..."if the engine is redlined a lot within a short period of time the car will eventually stall, this is a known problem that BMW hasn't resolved yet". WTF! My engine has only 25K miles and I paid over $45K for this thing while a G37 goes for about $35K and doesn't overheat. Just my 2 cents =)

@radar3699 technically its quite slow on the track compared to most cars in its class, i like them, even own 2, but they suck on the track look at the numbers, but they are a dream to drive

@planchik Oh, if I could get a C63 I would love to. However, as I'm only 18 and I already plan to spend just about all my money on my first car I can't get something with maintenance costs/insurance like that. If I was going that route however, I think I'd have to pick up an M3. It's high-revving V8 just sounds so incredible, especially with the right exhaust to open it up a little.

@jhain92 yeah man, i love how the 335 handles. very tight cornering and very responsive. the other car that has sick handling is a c63 amg benz.. its pretty sick. my friend just got one a few months ago and that thing is excellent. right on par with the bimmer. i sold my 335 a while back and picked up a three year old cls550
