  • It has absolutely nothing to do with our Space Program which is fantastic. Stop demeaning the 10s of thousands of men that worked on the Apollo, Gemini, and Mercury programs who did fly to space, and did LAND on the moon...

  • You are flat at ignorant. Do some research before you criticize the hard work of your fellow country men. In 1969 we did land Apollo 11 on the moon after years of hard work. Why don't we go to mars you ask? Well we don't have the money. If NASA got even a fraction of what the war in Iraq gets we could do it and much much more. .

  • Thumbs up if you came because you found out Gary Sinse was narrating

  • @6SpAr6TAN69 It's not the government that says they landed on the Moon. It's scientists and journalists all over the world who witnessed it in real time.

  • so did they really land on the moon? i mean who the *uck believes what the government says anyway. They' d sell their own soul to the devil just to make some more money and keep themselves to power.

  • they say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and you have displayed that wonderfully. thanks.

TVs were black and white! LOL on fucking LOL! tvs were not only bkac and white then fool.

fising a rest room in space is rather more difficult than emptying a bag from a pipe that was shoved up your arse which is the technology they used in apollo. primitive but effective.

the reason why no one has been back to the moon is political and economical, you fucking idiot.

  • Another one of the biggest challenges in getting a crew to Mars and back is coming up with a way to create and store the hundreds of meals that it will take to keep the astronauts fed for the long duration of the trip. There was a big article about it in the LA Times last month. Too bad we can't be put in suspended animation like they did on Planet Of The Apes. heheheh.

  • It was 6 times, not 4, and believe it or not, they even had color TV back then. Let me make sure I'm getting your "logic".

    1. We don't have men on mars today.

    2. Therefore no one landed on the moon in 1969.

That about the extent of your reasoning ability?

  • you seem to like nokia pretty well. ever wonder where the first wireless headsets like bluetooth were developed? i'll give you a hint. Plantronics was sub contracted by NASA.

as for why we havent yet gone to Mars: politics. NASA is not one big happy group of scientists. There've always been bitter struggles b/w different groups w/ unique agendas. The shuttle can't get us to Mars. The ORION will. Bone and muscle loss and other physiology needs to be sussed out b4 we snd ppl 2 space for 2.5 years.
