As Joe spread the miraculous news about Brey and I getting recommendations from Dave Keevo, I was watching Frankie play GTA on his PSP.
"What?!" I heard Kev shout from the other room.
"There goes the whole cast." said Brey, noting the people Joe told.
"Die! Die!" Frankie shouted out of nowhere.
"I wonder if hes going to tell the crew." I said.
"Damn it! Die!"
"Frankie." I said, sternly.
"Oh. Sorry."
"No way!" I heard from outside.
"I'm guessing he told the crew." Brey said, nodding.
"Die! Die!" Frankie shouted some more.
"How do you get used to this?" Brey asked.
"You should see Joe play Brutal Barney online."
"What the hell is that?"
"I dunno with Joe." I shrugged.
Brey laughed, and I heard more gasps outside. Was it that big of a deal?
"Hey girly!" I looked over to the door, where the JONAS director, Dan was standing.
Hey called me girly most of the time. Never knew why. It sounded awesome with his British accent, though.
"Oh! Hi Danny."
"Do you and Braden want to extra? We have to fill in two spots with lines."
I looked over at Brey, who was obviously thinking of his fathers reaction if he finds out. Which he will.
"Yeah." He said, with a sly smile on his face.
I looked at Dan and gave him a thumbs up.
"You should get into costume. We start filming in 10."
"Okay. Thanks again Danny!"
"No probs girly."
We got onto the set, wearing the uniforms that the cast wore every time they had a school scene on the show. I looked in the mirror, and saw my reflection. Well duh, I told myself, finding my self pretty idiotic at the moment. I was surprised how different I looked with make-up on. Not a huge change, you could tell I was still me, but different.
"Wow."
I turned around saw Brey.
"What?"
"Nothing. Its just- I'm not so used to seeing you all fixed up I guess."
"At least you've seen me with a bit of make-up on. Try being me and looking at you right now."
He chuckled, and shook his head. His bright eyes met mine, and he said,
"You look really pretty Linley."
"Thanks Brey." I felt myself blush a little.
"I'll never get used to having make-up on. It feels so gay."
"Well, you should if your gonna be an actor. Do you memorize your lines?"
"Lee, chill. We have, like, two or three lines."
"It doesn't matter. Do you memorize them?"
"Yes, mother, I memorized my lines. And I cleaned my room as well. Happy?"
I rolled my eyes, and pushed past him. We both walked onto the main set, which was huge, and got into position.
Okay! Ray shouted out thru a mega phone, "Is everyone in position?"
People were scrambling around, getting into their places. My brothers came onto the set, and went to their places, beside the lockers. Joe gave me a wink, and I winked back.
"Make me look good Davids." I whispered, only loud enough for him to hear.
He smiled, and we did a knuckle touch.
"What if I don't?" He whispered, as Joe and Kevin started their scene.
"Then, that's not fair."
"I didn't say it was gonna be fair, Jonas."
I rolled my eyes, and we pretended to fix things in the bags that they gave us for props, as we were coming into the range of the cameras.
Joe bumped into me, as said in the script, and we said our lines.
"Okay, what would you do, if you were stranded at the North Pole, and your literally freezing to death, then, all you had to eat, were popsicles?" Brey said, taking another gummi worm.
We were on my balcony, doing the usual. It was a long day for both of us, and I thought it was pretty fun to just sit back for a bit. The only light there was, was the Moon, my cell phone, and his iPod.
"I'll make a fire and cook a penguin."
"No you wouldn't. I doubt that Linley Jonas could kill a penguin."
"I would if I were starving to death! Can we stop it with the impossible scenarios, Brey?"
"Sure, sure. Hey, don't you think its weird that your brothers dont go out to their balcony when were up here? But its also good, cause that would just be awkward if they did."
"Joe knows about this."
"Serious?"
"Yeah."
"You two are really close, you know that?"
"I guess so."
He stood up,and rolled his jackets sleeves up until his elbows.
"Where you going?"
"Don't know about you, but I'm beat. I'm going to bed."
I stood up and faced his blue eyes, that were glowing in the moon light. I kissed him on the cheek, which took him off guard.
"What was that for?"
I ruffled his hair, and grinned.
"Making me look good at the audition today. Good night Brey."
"Night Jonas."
I headed to my room, and went into bed.
