Several companies (including iHeater, EdenPure, and the so-called Amish heaters) imply their products will save you a lot of money on your heating bill. Some claim up to 50%! In reality, you will save money ONLY if you turn off your primary heating system and heat just a single room with the electric heater. Those who claim otherwise, especially ones who make outrageous claims like, "You can heat a 1000 square foot home for just pennies a day", are making fraudulent claims.

The IHeater is NOT and infrared heater at all !!!! it's internal circuitry has no emitters or bulbs of any kind but generates heat by running electricity through a metal plate. This is potentially very dangerous.
