"Spawn" is a 1997 Action Horror film directed by Mark A.Z. Dippe. Starring Michael Jai White, John Leguizamo, Martin Sheen, D.B. Sweeney, Nicol Williamson, Theresa Randle and Melinda Clarke. When Murderer for hire Al Simmons decides he wants out, his employers have him brutally murdered in a chemical factory explosion. Sent to the depths of Hell, Simmons is given the ultimatum of becoming the Hell-Spawn, leader of Satan's army...in exchange for the chance to see Wanda, his widow, once more. Realizing she has married his best friend, Simmons decides to fight against the forces of Hell and protect the Earth as his own man.

The Crow can't be killed. The only way to hurt him is to capture his crow and hurt that instead. By drinking the crow's (the bird, not hero), you gain The Crow's invincibility. That's it. He likes toying with his enemies and can be very....interesting....in how he kills someone and leaves their bodies. I recommend the first film, The Crow, The Crow: City of Angels (Second Film) and The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (TV Series). Salvation and Wicked Prayer (3rd and 4th Films) are bleh.

@TimmyTheNerd sounds like you know a lot! :) I've seen ghost rider and I want to see this movie but can you tell me what powers does the guy in the crow have? p.s I've seen the trailer it didn't help much :/

Maybe it's not the best superhero movie of any kind and it's not directed by Chris Nolan or Guilliermo del Toro, it still has some cool scenes like battle with Violator and scenes with mask covering his face.

Once Christopher Nolan is done with Batman, he then needs to reboot spawn, preferably the Armageddon arc and without the Scy Fy channel grade cgi.
