Treating the opposition like a pack of idiots works for dictators and autocrats who never have to worry about sharing power. Insulting the people you need to work with is crapping the bed. Barack either doesn't understand this or he doesn't care. If it's the former, he's in way over his head, if the latter, he doesn't have the emotional temperment for the job. The system was designed for gridlock and my guess right now is gridlock is preferable to whatever he might propose.

Wow...this guy has no business running our country. Incompetent and doesn't have the temperment required. We'll be deadlocked until he's replaced. The question is...can we stave off a depression until then? I certainly hope so, but think its more likely a probable outcome.
