Part 1/2!
Here is Norfolk Southern C23 eastbound heading to Meadville with two locomotives and three grain hopper cars with another awesome sounding Leslie RS3L horn. C23 stops at the Greenville Railroad Musuem so the crew could go to Sheetz to get something to drink and eat. The conductor of C23 said that it was lunch time and said hello to us. I told him it wasn't bad at all. Everything was okay.
The locomotives were:
Norfolk Southern SD40-2 3418
Norfolk Southern GP38-2 "Conrail" 5349
After Norfolk Southern 522 passed by heading westbound to Sharon at 4:07 PM, we went back to Wasser Bridge Road to check if Norfolk Southern C23 was still sitting on the very old tracks that were rusted since 2001 or 2002. The train wasn't there because the train backed up and was heading to Meadville. Mom said we were just crossing the tracks and heading to Greenville. When we crossed the tracks, C23 already crossed the Wasser Bridge Road railroad crossing on the former ERIE Lackawanna line on the Norfolk Southern Meadville Line with a very short train. We hurried to the Greenville Railroad Musuem. In Greenville, there was a LOT of traffic and I knew the train was not there yet. When we got close to the musuem and crossed the tracks, I didn't see the train yet. 10 or 20 minutes later, Norfolk Southern C23 came rolling by and stopping at the place Nathan Clark works at. Norfolk Southern C23 finally came and stopped on the tracks so the crew could go to Sheetz to get something to eat and drink and continue their journey to Meadville on the NS Meadville Line. Check out all the sound of the two locomotives and see what's inside a locomotive on NS GP38-2 5349. I did not go inside the engine. I just zoomed in and saw the inside.
Norfolk Southern C23 is eastbound on the former ERIE Lackawanna Line also known as the Norfolk Southern Meadville Line with two locomotives with three cars with another awesome sounding Leslie RS3L horn after Norfolk Southern 522 headed westbound to Hubbard, Ohio with three locomotives with an awesome sounding Leslie RS3L horn.
The locomotives were:
