Uhhh, no. The US version and JP version were identical in the graphical department.
And how would I know that, you ask? Because I own BOTH the US and JP versions, and have completed them both as well.

No. All of them were made by other people (mostly Japanese).
I did, however, make the map seen at 1:08 , 1:16 , and 1:56 . That's pretty much the only thing I myself created in this video.
