It's Going To Be Okay - Season 2 Episode 11 Part 1

This one is in three parts.

*The next morning, everyone had gone down stairs for breakfast. Kevin and Danielle were the first ones to arrive. A few moments after they got there, Demi and Joe came in, followed by Nick, Selena and Devin*
Danielle: (Smiling) Morning all.
Kevin: Hey guys.
Demi: (Curious, but knowing the answer) Danielle, what are you all smiles about?
Danielle: (Still smiling she looks at Kevin)
Kevin: (Smiles at her and nods)
Danielle: (Holds her left hand in the air)
Selena: Wow, congratulations.
Joe: Guys, thats great! So thats what last night was about?
Kevin: (Laughs) Yeah.
Nick: Congrats guys (Hugs Kevin, then Danielle)
Joe: (Smiles as he hugs Danielle, then Kevin) The good news just keeps coming.
Selena: (Hugs Danielle, then Kevin both with one arm, while holding Devin in the other) Im so happy for you two.
Demi: (Smiles and hugs Kevin, then Danielle) So
Danielle: So, what?
Demi: When are you going to get married?!
Kevin: This summer.
Nick: (Looks at Selena, then looks down, remembering the previous night)
Devin: (Giggles) He, he.
Selena: (Smiles at Devin) Looks like hes happy for you too.
Demi: (Looks at Nick and sees his head aimed towards the floor)
Danielle: (Takes Kevins hand and smiles up at him) I cant wait.
Kevin: (Smiles back) Me either, babe.
Nick: (Sighs and walks out of the restaurant and into the lobby, sitting down in one of the sitting areas, and burying his face into his hands)
Joe: (Confused) Whats up with him?
Demi: (Looks at Selena)
Selena: What?
Kevin: Whats going on?
Demi: Arent you going to go after him?
Selena: (Looks down)
Demi: Selena!
Selena: What do you want from me?
Demi: Look, he told me what happened, okay? Im sorry about it, but hes your fiancé and he loves you. He could really use you there for him, Sel.
Selena: Yeah, well right now, that all seems like its not going to happen. Im sorry, I just cant (Leaves and goes up to her room with Devin)
Joe: Okay, an explanation would be nice here, Dem.
Demi: (Sighs) Nick and Sel got into a fight last night.
Joe: (Confused) And you know that how?
Demi: We were talking about it last night.
Joe: Alright?
Demi: He texted me and we met in the hall. Turns out we both needed a friend to talk to. I guess hearing about Danielle and Kevin getting married this summer hit a nerve.
Kevin: And why is that?
Demi: Because he wanted to marry Selena this summer and she kind of turned him down.
Danielle: Poor Nick.
Joe: But why was Selena upset with him?
Demi: He hit her last night--
Kevin: What?!
Demi: After she hit him, it wasnt just out of nowhere.
Danielle: Still
Demi: I know. Look, I should probably go talk to him, and then Sel. (Sighs) This is going to be a rough day, I can tell already (Turns around to leave)
Joe: (Grabs her arm) How about I talk to Sel?
Demi: Umm
Joe: Dont worry, I got this (winked)
Demi: (Giggles) Alright. See you all later.
Kevin: Good luck.
Danielle: By the sounds of it, youll probably need it.
Joe: (On the way out, he catches up to Demi) Afterwards, meet me in my room, okay?
Demi: Yeah, sure.
Joe: (Kisses her cheek) We need to talk.
Demi: (Concerned) About what?
Joe: Last night?
Demi: (Sighs and nods) See you later.
Joe: I love you Demi.
Demi: Love you too (Walks over to where Nick was and sits down next to him)
Nick: (Doesnt move)
Demi: (Pulls him into a hug)
Nick: (Hugs her, lightly crying into her shoulder)
Demi: Its going to be okay, Nick.
Nick: I am such an idiot.
Demi: No, youre not. Stop saying that. We all make mistakes.
Nick: (Sits up) Kevin and Danielle are getting married, and theyve only been together a year. Sel and I have been together for more than three, and she still wont marry me.
Demi: (Shakes her head) Nick.
Nick: What?
Demi: Do you really need me to reinstate what was said last night?
Nick: (Shakes his head)
Demi: So do you think maybe you should go have a talk with her?
Nick: I guess so.
Demi: (Smiles and stands up) So lets go.
Nick: (Stands up and follows Demi upstairs)
