went on my porch to take pictures of the blue moon at midnight, and this caught my eye it flew from north to south and was bright glowing reddish/orange. never seen anything like it. faded out at the end and moved in a straight line, but made virtually no noise. this thing seemed alive, and it seems like it appeared to see what all the noise was about.
these are Chinese lanterns and when they quote disappear they burn out so ya

Saw the same thing, but in arc formation which later switched to triangular formation over spring valley, CA. Another person took a similar footage, but much clearer than yours or mine. Out footages were months apart, but same thing. Very orange pod/orb like objects floating accross the night sky. This is the same as the objects reported in the Phoenix lights...Its becoming a nation wide phenomenon and more and more people are reporting the same thing!

Yup I have seen the same thing in southern California. Red/orange ball that makes zero noise. I am just glad other people see them too.
