Report - Qantas Airways has grounded its fleet of Airbus A380 superjumbos following an incident that occurred over the western portion of Indonesia. Flight QF34 blew out an engine en route to Sydney, Australia.

PLEASE NOTE: The image used in this video is not of the actual incident, nor is it of the actual plane, or plane series involved in the incident. We used this photo because it was the first available image of a Qantas Airways plane that we came across that we were permitted to use. Since there was no image of the actual incident that we were permitted to use when this video was created, we did the best we could to try to convey to the viewer what airline was involved in the incident to help present the story. Thank you.

  • This is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. Why not just say "Declare war on Europe!!!!" and have done with it, Europe is evil is clearly the propoganda message you are trying to circulate. If not then why not try "US planes are better" or is the fact Boeing were fucking up royally a major impediment to that?

  • @GMPizik For the record, we like Europe and have nothing against either Europe or Qantas. This was just a story we came across, and we reported on it. We have reported on similar Boeing stories. We like Europe, like Qantas, and like Australia. And pretty much everywhere else.

  • Hey Paul, YouTube is for videos you douche bag

  • @rfc1180 This is a video. We can't use video of the incident because we don't have the copyright permission to do so. Instead, we did the 'best practices' approach when one doesn't have the video - use a picture that at least somewhat represents what you are talking about. This is a Qantas plane, even though it's not an A380. We did the best we were able to do at the time. - PFV

Yes, the flight was a QANTAS one, between Singapore and Sydney...an Airbus A380.

So why oh why do you show a Boeing 747 landing at London Heathrow?
