  • what kinda venue was that supposed to be?

  • She was signing copies of her book at Borders. Tape sucks but thought I'd share it anyways.

  • Nice note, Judy, you still "got it", girl!

  • I don't get it. How was she showing off...? Watch the youtube clip of her performance in front of the whitehouse (of this song) and it's the same thing. This rendition was actually shorter and simpler than the other one...

And if u call showing off going to high notes (even when the song specifically calls for such a note) then that's just stupid. Not all singing in the world sounds like Jesse McCartney where everything is all in the same octave.

  • No backing singers or musicians. No sound check or record producers. And still she just goes ahead and does it in the front window of a book store. What a performer. Oh, I forgot to mention. No hissy fits, tantrems or drunken collapses that we see too often from current (so called) singers. What a lady!

  • an old old matron too bad she is no longer sweet and pretty

  • booooooooooo. what is with the ending. LADY.

  • Beautiful voice ...then and now.

  • I think these guys are just kidding around too, gobipie. The tone of their posts doesn't really sound like they're dissing Judy.

  • One meaning of irony is saying the opposite of what you mean, like saying to someone who's said something stupid: You're a genius, aren't you?". I don't really think she is showing off. She has the skill, and demonstrates it.

  • I C... Wats irony.

  • "Let's hear your high C." Don't be ridiculous. Apart from the fact that I'm actually sticking up for her (look up irony) whether I could do it or not doesn't mean I can't criticise a professional. But I'm not criticising her.
