  • Just so everyone is clear on this... culture is not just for wankers in skin tight woolen sweaters, nor is it the preserve of those with six figure bank balances. Now go and cut your wrists with a broken bottle whilst listening to N-Dubz or grow the hell up and get a sense of humour.

  • Why hasnt the outkast/squarepusher collab happened yet!

  • Fuck me can that man play bass.

  • Could this lead to a future collaboration between Outkast, Squarepusher and Thom Yorke?

  • Could Andre sound any more ignorant? "show me what he doin' with dem computers over there." Cuz you know, I bet none of his producers use computers on any of his tracks *eyeroll*

  • Hit 6, she tells him 'in a monkey then, is what hes aiming for' !?!?! and he agrees...

  • Quotes from Lauren Laverne:

"I want to buy a new hat for the album launch". dumb, dumb, dumb!

"Somewhere between a cliche and a monkey, then, is what you're aiming for". what does that mean?!

  • @papillon786 it's because Laverne thinks they're better than him because they've sold more records.

  • An Outkast+Squarepusher collaboration would be the best thing ever.

  • @feelmyglock There are worse interviewers out there, I thought she was ok compared to most.

  • @feelmyglock you're right. why does she try to suggest he should be in awe or surprised of the attention received from the "media endorsed" superstars such as Andre or Sophia Coppola. He is their contemporary or dare i suggest he actually represents what they aspire to be associated with...This man deserves more respect. I've always found Laverne to be thick as a brick and tasteless. The pinup for the indie generation of manufactured cooperate suggested "alternative" scene. bull crap

  • A DJ is someone who puts on a song at a club and dances like they're the one making the music in order to feel they serve a true purpose. Squarepusher on the other hand, is a gifted musician. Lady, get off BBC.
