I think I know where Atkinson is coming from with regards to not owning a Porsche. I think it's definitely related to that old joke about what the difference is between a Porsche and and porcupine. For those of you who don't know, it's that with a porcupine the prick is on the outside.

I just did a DVLA check on Roderick's 1986 Ford Sierra...apparently it went off the road in 1997. This documentary was made in 1990.

Frankly, after seeing him driving, I'm astonished that it lasted another seven years.

Something tells me Roderick shouldn't talk & drive at the same time. Rowan - don't badger the man with questions by all means, let him concentrate on nearly hitting all the other drivers. :) He just may wreck and you may die, and we do NOT want that! We love you Rowan!
