Well I just took the plunge and ordered a combo from my dealer in Oakville, GEAR MUSIC in the Toronto area. made the trip form my home one and a half hours to play one of the head units sound is way better than is coming through on YouTube. The tremolo is so sweet you might even say Lisle like the way it swells and falls off. The new master power is even better than I was expecting, just how low it can go and still sound so good. Can't wait for it to come, coo-does to Dan Boul and 65 amps gang.

Noting the audio quality of the video and how poor it is .... well, that is an understatement to say the least! :) I typically hate sound clips even when done properly. Sort of like taking a test drive in a great car by watching it drive by. The magic in the great amps of the world is how they "handle" as in react to the player's touch dynamics.

Time to save up for a 65, I've been wanting one for a long time now but always wanted something with lower wattage. The Lil Elvis is gonna be perfect for me and perfect for the studio. I imagine this amp is gig friendly right? How does it take to stomp boxes and does the amp come with any kind of foot switches?

It seems to love pedals but that is personal feeling. It comes with a two function foot switch .... bump on and off ... and trem on and off.

Since you mentioned TrueTone in another comment I will assume you are in So Cal and since that is the case you should drop by the 65 Amps shop where you can try things out yourself with your own guitar and not in a hectic retail environment.

There are at least three or four heads and a few combos at the shop as of last Friday but I have no idea what will be shipped this upcoming week.

Well It came and I just love it. I did a side by side comparison with the head unit they have and I'm glad I ordered the combo the cab is a bit deeper plus the speaker in the other was a gold Celestion but when played side by side you can really tell the difference. I just proffered the Combo with the G12H special audition's. I don't think the head unit will be there long my brother has is eye on it. On the way home he told me now I'll have to go all the way back to by that amp.

My bud was just blown away by this little amp. the tone It's response to his pic attack, play it hard and it gets nasty stroke it smoothly and out come them clean mellow tones it's just so easy. I'm so stoked about this amp, it's going to sound great in our little band.

Ya this thing sings the sound is so pure and the way it cleans up with the volume knob, I can't wait for it to come in its still a couple weeks away though. I love how easy it is to get jaw dropping tones from. I actually dreamt about it I think I'm obsessed.

dude.. you wont regret it.. picked mine up from Gear about a month ago and youtube doesnt do this thing justice.. this amp is an instant classic just wait till you hear it.. the 65 amps guys definately know what they're doing..
