Did you install a replica (lower) intake or the real thing? Would you recommend a replica if a Kenne Bell will be bolted to it one day? I'm planning to buy and start building an '88 GT this year, I can't wait to tear into it!

I was thinkin bout doin this to my f150 5.0.. and was just wondering about how much all that cost ya.

@tdettmann11 Cool. Good luck. I had to re-time mine due to moving the distributor. Are you planning on doing the same?

@tdettmann11 Don't remember the exact bolt used. I went to Autozone and just began sizing some up until I found the right ones.

for the stock throttle body...what bolts did you use? the stock ones are too long
how many hours did it take?...and is your motor stock?...did you tell a difference in power?

@ROBBY639 Got it done in about 16 hours. 8 hours on each day of the weekend. The motor was all stock. The power difference was only noticeable at around 3500 RPM. But yes, it was a pretty good improvement. Don't know the exact numbers, but it's noticeable.
