Ok, sorry to double-post, but after re-watching several times (SUCH a nice job here, really) I am startled every time by 2.46:
What is with the DO?
I don't remember ever seeing Shatner/Kirk with that kind of wave. It looks so odd to me, somehow makes me think of Edith Bunker.
What ep is this shot from, anyone know?

That shot is from "Mirror, Mirror". As mortmere already said, it's a mirror image, so that is probably the reason why the hair looks so odd. Thanks for watching and commenting! :)
