  • Whats the song on this vid?

  • Earlier in the comments Toasty 1337 said it was Crystal Method - Matrix Theme

  • i have no clue why any one would bother to do this, or why they dont have to pay the coast guard when they have to come out and get them.

  • Why wouldn't they bother? Life is not a rehearsal. And coastguard callouts to the Global Challenge were reassuring rare!

  • Very amateur crew, trying hard to kill themselves, hanging, sliding, crawling, falling all over the place, good job for strong harnesses.

  • Is that intentionally supposed to be insulting? They are amateur in that they were not paid to do it, but I do hope that in making that comment you personally have at least 30,000 miles sailing under your belt and have sailed for at least 7 weeks in the Southern Ocean. Because they have.

  • Beautifu!~

  • @WELLBRAN I'm sorry, but you are rather misguided. You say that they are bad because they are falling over, have you ever had a wall of water hit you in the face? There is no way you can stand upright against it. Water is heavy, and when a big wave breaks over the bow, and you have both hands in the air trying to get that sail down before it tears off the mast, you have no way of standing upright.

Learn the subject before you start mouthing off.

  • @Challenge2006: pretty sure it's Rob Dougan's 'Furious Angels'

  • why all the quarreling; the ocean is big enough for fools and fisherman

  • oh i won't argue that a lot of fishermen are pricks when there gear is in the water. i've got plenty of stories of fishermen from working on a seismic boat, that assumed they had right away, when we were also towing gear. best to avoid them just the same, i know fellas that'll fire a few shots for less. your screwing with his livelyhood. i'm glad your helping kids, but like i said , i'm jaded. i've developed the interested in learning how myself, but the ppl involved keep turning me off.

  • And i laugh in the face of any fisherman who starts pointing fingers about others not giving right of way. If they were fishing as often as they declare themselves to be then there would be no fish left in the sea.

  • I think you are being very narrow minded. I am volunteer crew for a charity that teaches disadvantaged kids how to sail and helps them get their tickets or at least something to put on a resume that gives them any kind of career other than crack dealer. I can assure you that not everybody in a sail boat is a rich fool.

  • a calling? is that what it is?

after you tow enough sail boats off of sand bars, bravey starts to seem like it might be more stupidity. i've also watched a small club of sail boats demand a container ship change it's route in a shipping lane (wont happen.) so they could keep up their race. i grew up fishing, and i'm a marine engineer now. if anything, you'll have to forgive me, when i see a sail boat, all i see is rich fools, doing stupid things to brag about later to friends. call me jaded.

  • LOL! tuperware sailor!
