This is a Prince reed organ made in Buffalo, NY around 1878. It was redecorated and given to movie star Zasu Pitts by her first husband in the 1920s. I did a lot of work on it and now it sounds great. Check out the tremolo stop!
It is owned by her grandsons, Ralf and John Reynolds who asked me to get it back into playing condition again. John is one of the great jazz banjo/guitar players in the Los Angeles area. He and his brother are the "Rhythm Rascals". AND her name is spelled ZaSu and pronounced Say-Soo (if you want to be picky).
Great; thanks for your reply. I am loosely familiar with the musical output of the Reynolds Brothers and a huge fan of their late grandmother, Ms. Pitts. Thanks again!
