Floatplane pickup at Kautunigan L. Bloodvein R. MB

After a thunderstorm in mid August, we waited 4 hours for a floatplane to pick us up. The Otter was busy on lodge runs so we were picked up by a C-185 after putting our canoe in the bush for later pickup. The flight to Bissett takes about 30 min.

I took these videos in August of 2007. Blue Water Aviation was the company we use and has had a small base in Bissett for the past few years if I remember correctly. Before that I think it was Selkirk Air.
