Yea... actually the drum was broken, and here in chile it is hard to get someone to tune the khol. Anyways the playing is OK i think.... i am not a Khol MASTER , but it is not very bad... if you listen you can hear all the sounds very clearly and the hand moves smoothly. I don´t understand why you claim that it is "VERY bad playing".

It is also true that we don´t see many professional khol players on youtube, i wish i could see some.

Actually you can find Bablu das in some videos on youtube playing but he demonstrates simple mantras, nothing too fancy but he has the best technique i have seen in mridanga players. The other one i like very much is the one playing in the video "Mridanga khol tabla bhajan Master"

Actually the tabla is like a fake mridangam used in classical indian music. There are lots of instruments that have the same "design" like dholak, nal, mridangam, madal, etc. I find this design to be more natural for the body positions.

that was some very bad khol playing, the player has no idea and the drum is totaly out of tune, also the khol has been around for alot longer than tabla and most of the khol players on youtube are not very skilled.
