Tim Dunigan spielte 1988/89 in den 4 Episoden der neu aufgelegten Walt Disney Produktion "Davy Crockett" den amerikanischen Nationalhelden und Abenteurer aus Tennessee.
Er trat damit in die Fußstapfen von Fess Parker, der den Trapper und Indianerkämpfer Davy Crockett bereits erfolgreich in den 50iger Jahren verkörperte.

Der historische Crockett wurde am 17. August 1786 im Greene County/Tennessee geboren und fiel am 6. März 1836 bei der legendären Schlacht um Alamo im texanisch-mexikanischen Unabhängigkeitskrieg.

Die Filmszene stammt aus dem Pilotfilm zur Serie, der im Original den Titel "Rainbow in the Thunder" hat.
