This brings back happy memories of primary school in Scotland in the 1960s, where we sang this song for one of our Christmas concerts. Thanks for posting it.

I have had to put this on as my daughter is singing it in her christmas show, and she needs to practice it, ive actually never heard of it, what ever happened to little donkey??? hehe x

I remember this! My Primary School used to sing it in singing practice when we were preparing for Christmas concerts. I was only in Year 4 at the time and I'm now at college yet I still remember it.
P.S. My Head Teacher sang like an opera singer with a frog in her throat.

Too funny. When I think of an opera singing frog, I think of that one Loony Toons cartoon about the bum who finds the frog who sings opera, but only for him! Glad the song brough back a fun memory. Cheers!
